a spooly way to collect your goodies

We are hopeful that the Halloween festivals may still be able to be held safely this year so I purchased these goody bags for the kids to use. The package came with two bags that are shaped like a hand and a claw. There was a black skeleton bag and an orange pumpkin bag. The hands are hard plastic and the pouches are made of a slick cloth with a Halloween graphic printed on it. The hands are attached to a stick which makes the entire bag about 17 inches long so the kids can stay a safer distance away while receiving their treats and it has a hole for hanging while not in use.

The stitching on the pumpkin bag was not sewn correctly so the bag was open on the side when we received it. I was able to run it through my sewing machine with some heavy-duty thread to quickly repair it rather than to bother with the hassle of returning it for a replacement. The kids love these bags and cannot wait to use them to collect their goodies.
