good bike lights

mainly use the front light as I had rears already but the price for the set was too good to pass up on so I’ll keep the rear for the future use. Installation is easy enough, ditto charging. I pretty much cycle exclusively in daytime and the static light with two levels is bright enough to get me noticed without annoying motorists too much. I save the flashing for bad weather and when in use I can see it lighting up road signs at 50m or more which is impressive The added visibility in gloomy lanes or in the rain whilst using this is ten-fold and I’ve noticed so many more cars stop to give way to me and at quite a distance since I put this on the front.

You have to keep an eye on it’s position as it can shift upwards if travelling at speed but it’s easy enough to sort without stopping and the narrow form shouldn’t affect your “aero” too much. The metal case build quality is good also though charge time is quite high at around two hours but it has stayed lit on many rides of well over two hours. In summary these are a great purchase that may have saved my bacon out on the road already.
