These knives are unique and intriguing! I LOVE the handle, both the look and the feel. The set is a 4-inch paring knife and a 6-inch chef's knife. However, when holding them, they seem a little longer than they are because of the length, between the blade and the handle. The handle is a hard plastic that is both comfortable and fashionable and it is definitely a distinguishing feature of these blades.
Like all ceramic blades, these will stay sharper longer! They shouldn't be used on frozen meat, or for prying or carving because that requires a more flexible blade. However, they are great for chopping, thawed meats, fruits, and vegetables. Don't use the flat side of the blade to crush anything because that could make them chip. Despite these warnings, I find these to be the slickest knives in my kitchen and I ALWAYS reach for them first!
