Broke 1st time I used it

I was really curious about this whisk when I saw it. I do a lot of baking and candy making, so use my whisks a lot. But I hate how much room they take up - and hate it even more when they get bent out of shape because they get squished by something else or in the drawer. I thought the design of a flat whisk would be cool since it would fit in drawers better. And I was really curious as to how it worked in the first place, so ordered one to try it out.   When I took it out of the box I was impressed with the size of it. It was a full size whisk and was flat enough to fit in my drawers instead of taking up space in my utensil cannister. And it had a really cool design where you turn the knob on the bottom and it opens the whisk up to a full size one that can easily beat eggs or wet mixtures. I love using silicone utensils so was glad to see this was made of silicone for easy clean up and dry off.   I had cupcakes to make for little missy's 2nd birthday, so was able to put it to work immediately in the kitchen. I dropped my eggs, oil, and water in and started beating them. No problems with wet mixes. It was working perfectly. Then I dumped in the cake mix (I was cheating and doing boxed mixes for these instead of from scratch like I normally do) and began to try to beat it in. The center of the whisk fell out and couldn't be put back in. I tried to keep going with the remaining two pieces (since it gave me four silicone wires to beat with) and the next inner piece fell off. I cleaned everything up and tried to find some way to fix it, but no luck. It was broken. I thought maybe the pieces would snap back together, but they didn't. It had to be thrown in the trash.   So while it has a great design and unique idea that would be perfect for storage purposes, it was not well made and came apart. I have used metal whisks with no problem when making cupcakes and never had problems with them falling apart, bending, or having trouble mixing, but not so with this silicone one.
