Need to go into settings and select HD recording from default 720, that will cure the quality some complain about. Using 16gb card it will record a 100 mile journey on 720. I am a PCV ADI instructor and record bus routes for training purposes. It can be downloaded to your PC, I use AVI as it's quick and good quality with 170% angle and good quality. Can't go wrong with the price
