get a precise cut every time

I purchase a set of these contour gauges for my husband to use while doing carpentry work. These come in very handy when installing flooring. It makes it easy to get exact cuts when dealing with oddly shaped surfaces around doorways and trim work. This set comes with one small blue 5-inch contour gauge and one large red 10-inch contour gauge. The smaller one is perfect for small, tight areas and the larger one is good for bigger jobs. Each gauge has built-in measurements on the black handle. It measures in inches and centimeters.

The gauges are made of a rigid plastic and the “teeth” hold their shapes after contouring it around surfaces. My husband likes this feature because he can take the shape and then go out to his work area to make the cut. These are very easy to use. Hold the edges of the black handle and push the colored area into the surface to get the shape then use a pencil to trace the shape onto your material to make the outline for the cuts. Reset the teeth and use it again and again to help you make the precise cuts every time.
