Omar’s 128gb flash drive Review

Holy crap. This thing is amazing. At first I was skeptical, when I see something online that seems too good to be true it usually is. This one though I took the risk on and wow did it pay off. The flash drive itself is neat. It flips open exposing the lightening pins for iPhone connection and then back for stability when you are plugging the usb side into your computer or what ever you store things on. In order to access the files or the drive at all on your phone you need to download WitStick, an app that I guess was made for this specifically. It works fine most of the time. I had a few hiccups in the beginning with it freezing and crashing. Contacted customer support and they were more than happy to help. It comes with a 12 month warranty to back that up. The drive is actually very durable, I accidentally left it outside in the grass overnight at my job, I found it the next day (FYI it’s small and expensive, keep it on your key ring or something at all times!). I plugged it in my phone with all hope gone, but boom it worked and still does. I was blown away. If you want to put data on it from your computer, which is what I do other than backup my phone, which it has a One Touch Backup option, very convenient, all you need to do is plug the regular usb end into your computer. It will find the drive. You can copy and paste if you want to keep the original file on your computer or you can just move it to the drive. The speed that it transfers data is crazy fast. My drive was pushing 40mb/s, which if you don’t know is extremely fast. Then once it’s on there, make sure you safely eject it. Plug it into your iPhone and you will get a prompt from Wistick. Click allow and it automatically opens the app and you can select the files. Any video files will open and play in app with an internal player that works ok. It could use some UI updates but I’m not complaining. Overall amazing purchase. The ONLY reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is the app and the video player UI. If they are slightly updated then it’s an easy 5. The app and video player need to be a little more stable and the video player needs some sort of visible user interface
