Mwahahaha. My light pad now has an upgrade! I already have a basic light pad / light box to help mostly with my cosplay - tracing and altering patterns for sure, but sometimes it helps to underlight fabrics when I'm matching patterns and seams as well. (Princess Leia's all white gown was making my eyes cross without the additional light.) Anyway, I found this simple light pad stand to prop it up at a small angle. This keeps me from having to lean quite so forward when I'm working. It also can rotate 360º, wheeeee. I can move my light pad and the item on top of it to match angles with a little more ease. Anything that makes the work smarter, right?
The kickstand has a few angles it can sit at, though they are are still pretty low, and it still needs to sit on a flat surface. I'll keep it extended to max height. It's sturdy and doesn't slip when you apply pressure while tracing. Given that I'm doing a LOT of new costume patterning in the 2018 season... this is a nice little find :D
