Definitely keeps the heat in and the cold out

If you're looking for a slip on full head and face protection mask to keep out the cold and keep your entire head warm, this is definitely the cover for you. I wore it on a snowboarding trip, and it kept my head so warm I was sweating. Never once felt cold at all. My only issue was it has a thin, lightweight breathable panel directly in front of your mouth to make it easier to breath properly, but the panel needs to be a bit smaller, it was too much thin material, and kept sticking to my mouth when I started breathing heavy or trying to yell towards one of my friends on the slopes. But it did make it much easier to breath without any restriction of air flow at all.
