My kids 2, 5 and 9 enjoy playing with it. My youngest is an avid car fan, he likes playing with it even with lights and sounds off. Sometimes I get annoying with the repeated sound so I ask kids to play without the sound. Battery lasts a while between recharges. I bought another one for my 11 yo nephew and he liked it as well.
