very pretty

I purchased this ribbon to use with some decorating that I plan to do this year. It is wired ribbon so it will hold the shape I bend it into and comes on a spool containing 10 yards which is 30 feet. The ribbon is 2.4 inches in width. The ribbon is sheer with gold trim and snowflake details. This is double sided ribbon. The snowflakes are gold colored on one side and they are silver colored on the other.  It is very pretty and sparkles in the light. It will look amazing on the tree with the twinkling lights behind it.

I did cut and test a piece just to see how it would work. As a precaution, I prepared the cut ends just as I do with any other ribbon of this type to keep it from unraveling. I like to use a sharp pair of scissors to cut it and some clear craft glue painted on the ends with a cotton swab. This ribbon doesn’t appear to fray easily anyway because the cut end on the spool was still perfect but they might have possibly used heat to cut the ribbon during manufacturing. I simply took that extra step just in case it might start fraying.
