This little piece of fabric is heart-shaped and very soft and fluffy, but it cannot be called an area rug unless you are using it for a dollhouse. It's just tiny, even too tiny to make a pillow. The idea is fantastic and the product quality is excellent, but this product falls short more than a few inches.
