Working great in my car!

I picked up this cable on a whim. I didn't really NEED it, but thought it was interesting and figured with my tech loving family that has to be connected to something at ALL times, it never hurts to have additional cables to use. I liked the fact that this cable was not your typical single option. Instead you get a few different options - all on one cable! Included are: 3.5mm male, a female audio jack, and a type C connection. The other end is a 3.5mm male connection, all on a long cable that is wrapped nylon in black and gray colors.   My husband and I both use a phone with a Type C connection. I have an S8 and he has an LG something or other. My phone is paired to my car with bluetooth, so I can easily connect that way to play music, answer calls, etc. But my husband is not paired to my car, so if we want to listen to his playlists, we have to use a type C cable or an aux cable. This satisfies both needs - aux and Type C. Either one of us can plug in with this cable and play from our phones.   My kids always use aux cords when we are driving. We have now gone through about 5 or so because they short out and stop working. I keep an extra on hand usually and then pick up  a new "spare" when I have to throw one away. I am hoping that this one will last longer, but only time will tell. For the time being, it is working great for our needs. Connections are secure and not wobbly, sound quality is clear with no static or interference, regardless of which connection we use. We have not used the female connector for anything, but it is there for who knows what.   To use in the car, there is a ton of extra cable. It is long - it is a 5 foot length cable, so if you are controlling things from the front seat you have no need for that much cable. But if you have a kid in the backseat who wants to plug in their phone for a long drive, you may appreciate having a longer cable. It does stretch from the audio port to the backseat easily without pulling out or interrupting sound quality, but I don't know how long it will last before it begins to degrade from being pulled so much.   For now, I am pleased with the performance of this cable. It is working great for my family's needs.
