This is the perfect gift for any child around the age of 3 to 5. It has a magnetic challk/dry erase board and comes with magnetic letters and numbers to play and learn with. My 4 year old absolutely loves this learning toy. The chalk/dry erase board comes completely apart from the bottom and can be propped up too if your child prefers. It comes with dry erase markers that have the eraser right on the end of the marker. It also comes with chalk and an eraser for the chalk board. The magnetic letters and numbers are fun and brightly colored to be interesting to kids. My daughter loves to practice telling me the letters and numbers and putting them in order. It is fun, but also a great learning tool. The hands on aspect is what I really like the most. It is also great quality. I find that wooden toys really do last a long time when taken care of.
