I got a discount on this heater so I could give my feedback. My main issue is this. It says in the listing that it's got the auto shut-off feature, if it tips over. Well, that was the first thing I tried, because I didn't see the little switch on the bottom that these types of heaters usually have, what I refer to as a "kill switch." When they tip, the switch pops open and it kills the heater immediately. So anyway. I plugged this in, got it heating nice and hot, then tipped it over right on it's face, on my bed. It kept blowing for over a minute before it finally shut off. I didnt care for that at all, because I have cats and I can't risk using a heater that doesn't shut off when tipped over. It's also odd that when you turn it to "off," it keeps running for over a minute before it actually turns off. So because of this, I won't be able to use it in my house, but I only docked it one star because technically it does shut off. I'm just not comfortable with it not shutting off immediately when tipped. Also, there is no thermostat. It just blows continuous heat. You can adjust the fan speed and you can make it oscillate, but there's no thermostat. That's not real energy efficient. And it seems like it would be a nuisance, having to shut it off and on to regulate the heat without a thermostat.
All that being said, if you don't have concerns about it tipping over (someone with no pets), the thing is nice and portable and cute as heck. It's got a carrying strap on the top. And if you are someone who is cold all the time and wants continuous heat blowing, then the lack of thermostat is no biggie. It does have a strong fan and blows nice, hot air. It's worth mentioning that you can set it to just circulate air, like a fan, as well. So just because it's not what I can use, doesn't mean it's not what others may be looking for.
