some bells are out of tune

I purchased these bells for my daughter hoping to incorporate them into her music lessons. A friend of mine is a music teacher and teaches my daughter online. We showed her these bells when we purchased them and sadly, she said most of the bells are out of tune. The springs inside are also not consistent for all the bells. I am not sure if they are too loose, but on a few of the bells, the spring bounces and the bell rings repeatedly more than it should. There was no sheet music or instructions in the package and the colors of the bells do not match up to the music we find online. The tops of the bells have stickers on them indicating the note but they were falling off as we were taking the bells out of the box. I did secure them back to the handle with some craft glue. These will be fun to play with as a toy but not for serious learning. This may have just been a quality control issue or mishandling in the warehouse so I will be ordering a new set for my daughter and donating these to our homeschooling group for the little kids to play with. I will say that these bells are very cute and seem to be well made.
