Right size for kittens but the quality is for no pet

The bowls are the right size for my kittens, not dogs but what's the point of the circle on the bottom (which is not rubber by the way) if not but to keep them from sliding when your pet is eating or drinking?

They are some shiny, slippery material that not only falls off the bowls but even when it's on my kittens, not cats, dogs or puppies..12 week old kittens..end up pushing them across the entire kitchen by the time they are done eating or drinking.

Spendcthe extra dollar and buy them at the pet store. Money wasted here and the rings, a choking hazard for my dogs.
