~ What ~
This set includes 12 vibrant 12mil tubes of acrylic paint, 6 paint brushes, and 3 canvas panels. Arriving in a box, the paint colors include white, lemon yellow, yellow ochre, vermillion, crimson red, burnt sienna, viridian, hooker’s green, cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, raw umber, and lamp black. The brushes are in round, flat, and pointed designs, and the 8 by 10-inch canvases have been gessoed. No instructions are included.

~ Why ~
Having a degree in art, I usually paint with oils, but often I like to create with different mediums. I like the colors included in this set have the three types of browns (yellow ochre, burnt sienna, and raw umber) that are a must when mixing colors. Including the brushes and boards complete the set.

~ Why Not ~
Some artists are very picky about the brand of paints they buy as some may be too thick or thin or do not cover well. Others may wish there were more color choices and could buy an even larger set.

~ Wish ~
I wish the items came in a box or carrier with a handle so everything could be contained inside it for storing or transport. Adding a palette would be ideal.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for an inexpensive and complete set of acrylic color paints for a few paintings, this one is a keeper.
