12 PACK OF BLANK ARTIST'S CANVASES

~ What ~
Made of 100% cotton with white-sheeted cardboard backing, this set contains a dozen white artist’s 8 by 10 inch canvas boards that have a medium grain. They can be used with oil, watercolor, acrylic, tempera, gauche, and other like paints without absorbing them. Being already primed, they arrive double-cellophane wrapped without instructions, ready for using or giving.

~ Why ~
Having a degree in art, I have painted over one hundred acrylic paintings for family and friends during Covid so these are great to have on hand. I like their sturdy backboard and that the canvases are non-polluting with an acrylic gesso layer. They do not warp with acrylics. Since I seal all my paintings with spray varnish, the paint does not chip off the canvas.

~ Why Not ~
Some may not like doing an arts and crafts project, but these are fun to use for paintings. Some may not like that they are medium, not fine grain so the paint has to be repeatedly brushed in to cover the canvas.

~ Wish ~
I wish they were made of linen instead of cotton as the grain is easier to paint.

~ Want ~
If you are an artist who likes to paint, this set of 12 canvases is well-priced for being flat board canvases.
