This is a great wireless handheld mini keyboard/touchpad combo. It combines a backlit touch keyboard with a touchpad mouse, both using the same screen. When in the keyboard mode, it is lit well and you can see each key identification. It is comfortable in the hand and I think you might be able to use this one-handed, though it would be awkward. It is easily used holding in two hands and using thumbs for typing. It even has left and right mouse buttons along top of the unit, and it will make a great game controller for playing PC games.
You connect to your computer or other device using the included USB wireless dongle. It was instantly recognized as soon as the unit was powered on. We connected it to a laptop for testing purposes, though it's final home will be connected to our smart home theater projector when the theater room is completed.
It is powered by an internal and replacable BL-5B rechargable battery, similar to those batteries in old Nokia cellphones. Replacement batteries are readily available on Amazon. The battery is charged using the included USB charging cable, connected to any USB source.
We are very pleased with this unit and it will replace our full-sized wireless keyboard and mouse, which was very awkward to use in the dark. Being backlit, this mini keyboard will really be a great change.
