I have tried smaller ones but they weren’t very powerful. However as soon as I got this out the door I could feel it pulsing and desperate to get at some water! It has lots of attachments to choose from depending on what you want and would be amazing floating around a pond. Sadly I don’t have a pond only a bird bath but it’s amazing still and gives a really high fountain! Would love to get some more as gifts. Really happy with it
