This has been great, I have a blanket that I've had for quite a long time, I haven't been able to get rid of it. It's my absolute favorite but it has been pilling for a while. I tried a different fabric shaver before and it didn't do much. This has worked great. I used it on one of my sweaters also and it got out the matted looking mess
