My newborn 4 month old suffered with long periods where she was pretty inconsolable. In desperation we got this to use when using a phone app wasn't feesible. It is portable, battery operated, and pretty effective at calming the baby. The only negative was that to recharge it, we had to have the right cable, and a computer or special plug. Now that we know my baby can be soothed right to sleep and it helps block out other noises we use daily. I also love the added lullabies. Overall great buy and I highly recommend.
