This just slots between the mattress and bed base ( I have a steel rod base ). I’ve not had any problems with it dropping on to the floor as other reviewers have mentioned. Mine is still firmly in place. If I had one small gripe it would be that ALL of the pockets could do with being an inch deeper. But then I guess it depends on the length of the remotes you’re using. Apart from that it does the job it’s supposed to.
