This is by far the best mat for cat litter that I've ever bought ever, I'm in love with this mat. If you are on the fence about buying this let me tell you right now get off and buy it!!! The size is perfect because you can put the litter box completely on the mat but still have room all around the edges so that it'll catch the litter but not be off balanced. It is very thick but still firm so they can walk on it and it wipes their little paws coming and going, and clean up could not be easier. You literally can pick the mat up and then pull it apart a little bit and just shake it out- it's sort of this rubbery material that's perfect for just rinsing off or scrubbing off if you want to go outside with a hose and some soap. Absolutely perfect mat; does the job, I will never buy a different mat again!
