I bought this USB Wall Outlet as a way to add functionality to my standard wall outlet.

I bought this USB Wall Outlet as a way to add functionality to my standard wall outlet. I just plug it in, and it I can use my outlets and still charge my devices without adding a charging block. I was able to plug it into the top electrical outlet and still use the bottom one for a third plug, and also plug in two phones to the USB ports, instead of only being able to use the two plugs. You can simply plug it in and it is ready to use, or if you prefer, you can mount it  to your existing electrical outlet using the long screw provided which would give you additional stability. I didn't find it necessary to stabilize the plug since it felt secure without the additional screw attached. I did find that the two electrical outlets were a bit snug, which meant that I needed to hold the outlet in place while unplugging my devices, however this isn't really a big deal. I would much rather have an outlet that was a bit snug than one where my cords can become accidentally unplugged, so I really have no complaints here. One feature I really like about this USB wall outlet is that it has a built in little shelf on the top of the outlet where you can rest your phone. It is helpful because now my phone sits on the shelf instead of on the counter. There is only room for one phone on the shelf, so it still leaves your second USB device sitting on the counter while charging, but again, not a big deal since both phones would have been on the counter without this outlet. Another cool feature is the blue light that indicates that it is powered. It is a pretty blue color and works well as a night light so I can easily find it in the dark. I was able to plug two phones into the USB ports as well as a couple of other things into the wall outlets. Everything worked fine, and the phones charged well. You can use the USB ports for a variety of things such as phones, tablets, or basically anything else that can be powered via a USB charger.
