I was really excited when I saw this cute summer dress, paisley has always been one of my favorite patterns on clothing, and here in Arizona, summer seemed to have just shown up overnight, since daily temps outside are already over 100° by 10:00 am. Summers here in the desert are brutal, and the material and style of what you chose to wear when even overnight temperatures won't drop below 100° until October, can at times literally save your life from a heat stroke, or at minimum, prevent you from being moody and miserable all day by keeping you cool and allowing your skin to breath.
Tis dress is kinda cute on, the front comes up much higher on my chest than shown in the picture, and the fabric, while soft and silky on your skin, is definitely not breathable like you would expect a summer dress to be, which was surprising considering the material is so thin that if you're standing outside in the daylight, all the white areas of the dress are unfortunately SEE-THROUGH. So for those who get to spend their summers lounging around under the shade of an umbrella or spend most of their time indoors with an ambient temperature less than 80°, this dress would be perfect. Unfortunately the transparency of being such a thin material without the airy, breathability that a thin material should provide, just isn't a combo that I can wear with the extremes that come with an Arizona summer.
