I got these for a project and not for kids, I can also used them at work without having to shout from the roof which is pretty cool also. I think they are really good sound quality and with the 16 channels i do not think you are going to get mixed up with any other pair in the are.
The range is around a mile or so in the Uk but I have never tested this so I wouldnt really know..? the sound quality is great though at around 400 meters which is about where I tested them and they sounded great easy to use and you can purchse more to add.
Over all they are good quality, with tuff arial and body and simple to use, come with own stand up chargers and I would pay the priced asked no problem. Great piece of kit and with the ear piece so you can just clip to your waist and press button on the cable is also neat feature.
