Convenient & Compact

I have been wanting a good makeup mirror to carry in my purse with me when I am out and about. I typically do not like to put on my lipstick until right before I go somewhere so that it is fresh and vibrant when I arrive and stays bright as long as possible. But putting on my lipstick in my rear view mirror is a pain, and the compact mirror I have been using is not the best. I wanted a good mirror and this one lights up, so I figured it would be better.   The mirror suprised me. It looks like an iPhone when you first open the pacakge. It is about the same size, being flat and about as thick as a phone. It has the same little circle on the base of it that you would press to turn on, which appears to have almost no function whatsoever other than cosmetic. The mirror is about 5 1/2 inches tall and lights up all around the mirror with 23 LED lights.   There is a power button on the side that turns it on or off. It is easy to turn on and off with a press of a button, though I worry I might bump it in my bag and turn it on accidentally. But it has an 8-10 hour life when on, so even if I do accidentally turn it on, I am sure I will catch it before it runs out of juice entirely. And it charges via usb/micro usb plug in, so can easily be juiced up again for future uses.   You are supposed to be able to adjust the brightness of the lights by pressing the button, but I haven't had any luck getting it to do anything but shine one solid brightness level. If it did change, it was in such slight increments I wasn't able to notice it. But I am okay with that. I like the level of brightness and how well it lights up my face to be able to see clearly.   I am very pleased with this mirror and how it works. I think it is exactly what I needed and I am so glad I got it. I have carried it in my makeup bag in my purse since finishing with charging it, and it has come in handy a few different times.
