cute costume

We are still social distancing in our area so Halloween festivities have been cancelled this year but our homeschooling group is doing a virtual online Halloween party. All the families drop off packages with goodies in them which will then be sorted into bags for the kids and will be delivered to their doorsteps the day of the party. The kids then get to dress up in their costumes and the group gets to open their goodies together in a Zoom video call.

My daughter decided that she wanted to dress up as a witch so I got this costume for her. I was surprised at the quality of the costume for the price. The set comes with a witch hat and a cape. The black cape has a Velcro closure at the neck so it is easy to put on and take off. The hat and cape have purple tulle fabric trim with black spider web designs and silver glitter details. The cape has hand holes with boa feather trim. The hat is large enough to fit an adult sized head but still fits my 8-year-old perfectly. The hat can be collapsed down for storage by grabbing the wire brim and twisting it into a small circular shape similar to the way you would do those pop-up hampers or play tents. The cape is super soft polyester material and has a vinyl decal of a yellow moon with a purple witch riding a broom surrounded by black bats.

The description states that it is for toddlers but my 8 year old can wear it just fine and still has room to grow in it. She is 54 inches tall and weighs about 65 pounds. My daughter loves this costume and will add it to her dress up closet after Halloween is over because she will be able to wear it for years to come.
