It is summer and there is no way I will be able to use this scarf any time soon, but I now have it for when the wearther does change and it gets chilly. This infinity scarf caught my eye and I thought it would make a great addition to my winter gear, though we have very mild winters in our area and I will likely not use it much. But I liked the look of it and decided to add it to the winter wear drawer.
The scarf is knitted on the outside in a chunky bubble design. I have crocheted similar designs for some of my beanies, one being the exact same design and color as this scarf, so now have a matching set that I can wear. The inside is all faux fur, making it super warm and cozy. It is definitely warm with the two different layers and will be awesome come winter!
I was a bit surprised at how tight it is, though. I was expecting it to be bigger than it is. It was almost too tight to pull over my head, and I don't have a large head by any means! But once I had it on, I realized you don't WANT it to be bigger. You need it to be close around your neck if you want to stay warm.
I love the fact that I can wear a scarf to keep my neck warm without having the hanging tails of a traditional one. I like having a scarf on and love the look of those tails, but sometimes they get in the way. When you are working or hiking or doing something out in the cold, they can get in the way. With this I don't have to worry about that! My neck can stay warm without having to worry about flopping ends hanging in my way or getting caught on something.
Just like the beanies I have reviewed for Evrfelan, their scarf is well made. There are no flaws in the manufacturing that I was able to see, no loose threads, no snags in the stitching, no problems. I can't wait to try it out!
