I really cannot stress what a fantastic set this is. It's just beautiful and as always with Uttora, the quality is wonderful. My kids love this brand of toys.
The set arrives in a nice handled box and looks impressive. 4 dinosaurs are included in the box - A brown 'Tyrannosaurus Rex', a brown 'Spinosaurus', a red 'Triceratops' and also a green 'Brachiosaurus'. Very familiar dinosaurs that I'm sure most kids will recognise. Also included is a toy hand screwdriver and a delightful 2 way 'electric' drill. It looks just like a real one but instead is very safe and needs 2 AA A batteries to run (not included). The whole design is robust and perfect for little hands. There's a great set of instructions for each dinosaur and they are easy to follow and comprehensive. The build time depends on the individual child, but it's not incredibly difficult - they may need a tiny bit of parental help. They look amazing when finished and are a nice size.
This is one of those sets that will provide endless hours of fun constructing, deconstructing & starting all over again. It's a toy that will last and get endless hours of use. It's a really good, value for money set. The dinosaurs look so good (cute too!) and what makes this set so nice is that the joints of the head, hands, feet and tail to swing the body. It makes the movements so life like and exciting. My kids adored them.
This is such a lovely way of introducing your children to dinosaurs and also I love that it starts a dialogue of learning through play. They are fun to build and challenging just enough to keep the interest going - in other words, not so hard that they give up and you feel like you've wasted your money! A little bit of adult help might be necessary at the beginning but kids will soon pick it up and feel a real sense of purpose when they've built it themselves.. They really are perfect for imaginative play, problem solving & fine motor skills and the kids will be so proud of themselves when they finish the build.
The quality is brilliant and the construction aspect is joyous. As a toy, I just think this is timeless, but most importantly, this is just such great fun.
