It's definitely on the larger size (about the size of a purse), so I'd say it's portable to bring around your home and to an event, but probably not intended to be super-small travel size.

The sound quality is amazing! And it's probably the easiest pairing I've seen, turning it on connected directly to my phone (once I'd paired it for the first time). No having to fuss around having to forget settings and re-add them as with some other Bluetooth devices.
