I still don't get the bluetooth and it doesn't connect

The devices do not connect to my iphone 7 plus via bluetooth, and so they do not work. Not sure if its a wrong area or type of phone? I also don't understand why they are both bluetooth and corded. Anyways, they were a nice idea but I could not get them to work after multiple tries. Sad but worth the shot.
