Basic kids telescope. Nothing fancy and easy to figure out.

I was happy to discover that this telescope was easy to put together. The directions were easy to understand and my 6yr old daughter was able to put it together on her own with my supervision. She only needed help with one piece. Which come to find out was a tad bit broken and that it why she couldn't get it to hold in place. One of the screws that are meant to hold the pieces in place wouldn't tighten. It was bc the plastic hole was stripped or slightly off I'm not exactly sure. So the main lens piece is very loose. I'm sure there is an easy way to stabalize it for use. This is the reason I took away one star though. Other than that detail this telescope is a great beginner astronomers tool! My daughter took to the sky right away and was able to adjust her telescope to see many stars. We are learning how to better use it to find the constellations she is interested in discovering! She is excited and I am thrilled to see her mind at work and her true interest in something I find interesting as well. I recommend this to anyone with a younger child who is interested and curious about the stars and night sky.
