Since we're probably still not going to the community pool or playground splash pads this summer, we decided to buy this mini backyard splash pad so kids can have some fun playing on it. It was delivered within a few days of purchase. It comes nicely folded in a small package and has a small plastic bag with a connector, a puncture repair patch and a small o-ring. This o-ring is very important, so pls read the instructions. At first, I set it up and didn't put the ring in and it was leaking like crazy at the pipe joint. Once I popped in the ring, it worked great. We simply spread it out, connected the hose and turned it on. We didn't have to use the optional adapter as our hose already has threaded end. You have to wait until it fills up the outer ring and then water starts coming out of the holes. In a couple of mins you can see a nice 4-5 ft high spray. If your yard is on a slope, the center pool will not fill up as it would on a flat surface. I do wish that all the streams would spray inside but one side sprayed outside. The design has a shark with an open mouth bearing its teeth. It is not a scary shark but more cartoonish. I'll be a little watchful of the joint at which you connect the hose because it connects on top rather than on the side so it is a bit weak part. Nonetheless, this is already a favorite summer toy for the kids and they are enjoying it.
