It seems there are always two things in short supply and constant demand in my family - one being earbuds, the other being Type C cables. I am constantly having to replace the cables near my computer, in my car, in my bedroom, or for the kids. It is time to replace a cable in my bedroom yet again because my phone gives me a "slow charge" notice every time I plug it in. I prefer buying in three packs like this rather than one at a time since I feel I get better value for my money. I love the colors in this set, but am not too pleased with the performance. These cables were odd compared to others I got though. Every time I unplug them from my phone I hear almost like a crackling sound. I know it is not something in my phone that is causing the problem. But I can't figure out what it is. It scares me, though, so I have stopped using them. They did seem to be working for me when I plugged my phone in with one on my computer and with another in my car, but both had the same sound when unplugging so i have since retired them to the cable box and have replaced them with others. I honestly do not know if they are good to transfer data from phone to computer or not since I did not try that. I only used these for charging purposes. I don't know whether it was a bad set of cables, if there really was a problem, or what exactly was going on, but I don't trust it and don't know whether to say check them out for yourself or not.
