This screen is made of soft foldable material with edging and grommets to hang it up. We are used to screens mad of plastic-type material that must be hung up for hours to let the wrinkles fall out before use. we were suprised that this screen does not wrinkle and can be used immediately upon mounting.
It can be used as a front or rear projection screen as it is somewhat transluscent. It provides an excellent projection surface and can be installed and removed in just a few minutes. It comes with both plastic hooks and light rope to allow for a variety of mounting techniques.
It is ideal for portable use. I don't think I would use it permanently mounted, as it would accumulate dust from constant use. I think it would be a problem to keep it clean were it mounted full-time, but for weekend movies in the yard, it is ideal.
