My kids gifted me a rooster wall clock and I had it for like 10 years. It finally went kaput and I missed it alot so I got myself this to replace it.
It's very close to the same design but not exactly.
Anyhow it just grows on you if you're ambivalent. I don't have any other rooster or county themed items that match. But I like roosters. Also my Chinese New Year sign is the rooster so I like that and I don't mind having a solo rooster, unthemed, since I'm not a collector or like themey rooms anyway. It keeps the sentimental memory having it there and the time, and I just like it alot. You get used to things.
It's super quiet. I use only one rechargeable AA battery. Also it has a nice bright colored second hand which is nice.
