Most of my solar stake lights I had in the front have died. They seem to last about a year or two then die out. I was down to only two left, but they have both seemed to be very dim and lifeless lately, so getting this set in has been great. I now have a full set that I can use to go around the flowerbed and up the walkway leading to my door. There are 12 solar light stakes in the set. I was a bit shocked by the packaging though. There was none. Everything was in a sealed plastic bag in the box. No directions, no branding, nothing. I figured out how to put things together easily enough and have put them out in the yard. But I am not sure how long they are going to last. They should be brighter than they are, being brand new (or at least I think they are - there weren't any scuffs or indications of them being used and returned). They come on as it starts getting dark but don't last all night like my previous ones did. I am not sure what time they finally die out, since I am still in bed. But I know they are off when I get up, and I am an early riser for the most part (except on the days my husband is home, and then I indulge in my opportunity to sleep in). At least I have light again and it looks better than the two mismatched dimming and nearly dead lights I had out there. I just hope they last longer because I hate having to replace them entirely. I have yet to figure out if you can replace just part of them or not, but that would be so much nicer (and less wasteful).
