I honestly thought these "chair socks" were going to be the stupidest thing I ever spent money on. I have new vinyl plank floors and metal dining room chairs. I was concerned about the kids scooting the chairs across the new floors so I was looking for something not too expensive (spent all my money on the floors) that would protect them. These little "chair socks" are inexpensive... AND well made... AND they fit my chair legs PERFECTLY (even though they are an odd shape)... AND they have done a GREAT job protecting the floors. I don't hear the SCRAPING noise when the kids scoot the chairs away from the table anymore and THAT is music to my ears! I have enough to put on the legs of the table too (really just so they match). I'm happy that this was NOT the stupidest thing I've ever spent money on. In fact, I bet YOU would like them too!
