I love using these Verisa aqua dumbells in the pool. Believe me, they do give you a good work out if you use them correctly. They do not absorb water much and the resistance is just right. I push them under the water, and then I move them from the middle of my belly all the way out on both sides and back again. I do ten (10) reps, rest and do four (4) more sets. The other thing I do is sit comfortably, and I just push the dumbells down as far as I can, hold them there for 25 seconds, slowly bring them back to the surface and repeat for a total of ten (10) reps. The next one is holding them straight up and down and pushing down into the water and lifting them up again for a set of 20 reps. They have foam handles so there is no discomfort to your hands. I think these are a great way to get some exercise and these that I do even help my core. They come in blue, green or pink.
