The interior of each bowl is textured in the upper left corner of the design. The beautiful artwork on these dishes only enhances the dining experience. These look like they've been updated from a previous version and are heavier. I love the size and style and that they each have a different recipe on them. I highly recommend them They arrived quickly and were exactly as shown.
