Not Sure of this, but it seems to work!

As I have gotten older, I have gotten saggier and more wrinkly. I am just 40 but am already beginning to get the neck my mother blessed me with. And I don't like it! I decided to try this 30 minute non-surgical facelift kit to see if it would help tighten up the skin that is beginning to sag and wrinkle under my chin. I didn't have high hopes for it, but figured why not try it out?   You get two neck treatments in the box, a paper measuring tape to track your results, and the chin strap to hold it on while it is working. It took some messing around with the neck strap to figure out how to put it on, but once I figured it out, it wasn't too bad. It is not the most comfortable thing to wear, but it works great for holding the mask in place.   To use this kit you start out by taking measurements of your neck. I have no clue what you measure, whether you go from ear to ear under your chin, or what, so I honestly didn't take any measurements. I wasn't worried about that. I was worried about the skin that needed tightening up. Once you finish your measurements, you take one of the two mask applications and open it up, then spread it on. It is nasty slimy! Be sure you have a towel before you start because you will want to wipe your hands when you are done! After you spread the mask across your neck and chin, you put the strap around it. There is a chin hole and ear holes, so line those up with your face and wrap the strap up around to the top of your head and secure it with the velcro. Then you wait 30 to 40 minutes for it to work its magic.   When you first put it on, it is cold and slimy. But as you wear it you begin to feel the heating sensation. It says it heats up, so expect that. It got pretty warm and almost burned. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to handle it, but left it on hoping my skin wouldn't blister or be irritated after. It wasn't miserable, but it definitely was not pleasant. I was only able to handle it for about 25 minutes and I had to remove it. I have sensitive skin, so it was all I could handle.   I removed the chin strap and peeled the mask off then followed with a good washing of my neck and chin. I was actually surprised to find it was not burned, blistered, or irritated. It was slightly red in places, but nothing bad, and that could have been from the chin strap. But what was even more amazing to me was the fact my skin did seem to be a slightly firmer. I didn't have the wrinkling under my chin that I sometimes get when I hold my head at certain angles. I took pictures of my neck to show there is no irritation, but I can't really say there is a good before and after result to show.   While it does seem to help firm up the skin some, I didn't see huge differences. I don't know that I would want to go through a second treatment. My skin feels extremely irritated now, very sensitive, though you can't see anything. There is no redness to it or anything, but it definitely is more sensitive now.   Would I recommend this to others? I honestly don't know. I don't know that my skin was all THAT bad and in need, since I can't show a good before and after.
