Have you wanted to mount your smartphone easily inside your car or other location without the hassle of messing with an awkward mount?  Why not try a magnetic mount instead?! 

Included in this package is an 8-Pack of metal mounting plates for your magnetic smartphone car mount including extra Replacement Stickers {4 Small Round Circular Disks and 4 Large Rectangular Plates).  Templates are made of an impressive thick 0.6mm rust-free metal plate. This is much thicker than its competitors. The added thickness allows for a substantially stronger magnetic attachment. The manufacturer claims that these plates should be compatible with nearly all magnetic smartphone holders, as well as magnetic air vent mounts, dashboard magnet car mounts, and all kinds of car stands.  

The metal plates are attached with pre-installed adhesive tape and should be placed on the smartphone directly or outside the phone case making sure that it does not obscure any wireless charging components of your smartphone.  Each plate is rounded on the perimeter to avoid rough edges and is covered with a smooth black aesthetically pleasing finish. As with any application like this, you should clean and prepare all surfaces prior to attaching this mount.

For my own personal needs, I used these mounts to attach a small light with a magnetic base...right above my workstation.  Unfortunately, despite several attempts, the adhesive was not strong enough to hold my light in place. However, the plate remained solidly attached to the magnet on my lamp.  I am disappointed that the thin adhesive did not hold, however, I realize I am not using this product per its intended application. I am sure it would work much better by just strictly mounting your smartphone as designed.  If you are using these for that application, I think you will have much more success and satisfaction!
