Retractable Dog Leash

Like every dog owner, when you say the word “walk” my dog will stop whatever she is doing and run to find me.  It is funny as she even recognizes the word ‘walk’ if I try to play tricks on her like say wanna go to Lake Tawakoni or do you like to listen to Rock and Roll, her ears perk up and ready to go on that sweet walk.

We have gone through several leashes throughout the years.  My wife really loves houndstooth and found a couple of retractable leashes, but they are getting old, been dropped several dozen times, and even have a few bite marks in them from when she was a puppy. Needless to say, I have been looking for a replacement for a bit, but haven’t been able to find that houndstooth one again.

I found this leash online for a really reasonable price and it has several good features:

- Expands up to 16 feet long and it works really great for our medium size dog
- The brake and lock button works really well.
- The case is very durable and feels comfortable in your hands.

The only thing I wish this had on it was some padding on the handle, but this is not that huge of a deal.  The leash works really great it a nice extra one to keep around the house. Works great on her harness as well.
