Bluetooth Sleep Eye Mask with Headphones,WUMINGLU Wireless Bluetooth 4.2 Sleeping Eye shades Handsfree Music Headset Built-in Speakers Microphone Washable for Travel Siesta(Upgrade)
As I have said before. I like devices and tools that are multi-functional and when I saw this sleep mask with Bluetooth headphone functionality I was interested to see if the product worked. Firstly I wondered who this product was designed for and came up with the thought that they may be a de-stressing tool. Put the sleep mask in to isolate yourself from the busy world and listen to some relaxing music or sounds of nature like birdsong, flowing river sounds etc.
Also people who have trouble getting to sleep like night workers might benefit from this Bluetooth sleep mask. Infact it would be ideal for someone, like me, who spend too much time looking at screens and feels the strain on their eyes to take the odd ten minute break put on the mask, relax and listen to some music then get back to work with fresher eyes. Well having identified the targeted customers it's time to look at the product itself.
The WU-MINGLU Bluetooth sleep eye mask comes in a plain translucent plastic pouch with a plastic zipped opening. Inside is the eye mask, a velveteen drawstring storage pouch, an instruction leaflet and a USB to micro USB charging cable. The sleep mask is made from some sort of soft velveteen material with two elasticated straps with a wide strip of velcro at the end so toy can get a comfortable fit.
There is a small zipped pocket in the top of the eye mask which allows access to a charging cable and on the front of the mask are the three buttons which controls the mask. Before using the sleep mask for the first time the supplied instructions tell you to charge it up, I used a power bank to do this and whilst it is charging a tiny LED indicator in the middle of the button panel lights up red then turns blue when fully charged.
When charged hold down the play/pause button till it the red LED comes in then continue holding it on till it starts flashing red and blue. This indicates the Bluetooth is working and the mask may be paired with your Bluetooth enabled device. I was using my phone and the sleep mask appeared as BT-FAAH and was paired without any problem. I then put on the mask and listened to the usual music tracks that I use to test audio products.
The mask was comfortable to wear and did a good job of blocking out light, the music was good considering the size of the small headphone speakers. Don't expect an extremely loud volume with a booming base because this is not what this eye mask is designed for. The volume is okay for people with average hearing and the sound quality surprisingly good, it wasn't tinny and there was a natural amount of bass. I also tried listening to an audio book and was able to here the narrator clearly so ideal who like going to sleep listening to a book.
I actually like this mask and will be using it myself which is the best endorsement of a product I can give. For more information on this WU-MINGLU Bluetooth sleep eye mask, including where it can be bought and it's current price please use the link below:-
