Great recording mic

I have been trying to find a better way to capture sound as I do my video recordings for product reviews but have not been happy with the options I have found until now. I use my cell phone, after trying a handful of different cameras and recording options, so needed something I can easily plug in to my phone to enhance sound quality. This microphone caught my eye and I am glad I stopped long enough to look at it and then order.   In the box you get the microphone, the cables you need for audio, usb, and an adapter cable, the user manual, plus the stand and filter. It truly is plug and play, making it easy to set up and use. They give you plenty of instructions for how to assemble the stand, though I was able to figure it out on my own, as well as operation instructions for the microphone itself.   The stand is short, but sturdy. Luckily, I don't need anything overly tall or large, so this stand is perfect for desktop recording. I am sure it might make for better sound quality if you have the microphone closer to your mouth, but I do not want my microphone to be visible on my recordings. I only want it to pick up the sound and amplify it, making it sound clearer, louder, and crisper on video as I record.   The stand is easy to assemble. The tripod itself is already assembled and ready to use right out of the box. It has a mesh/net look on the top and bottom that hold your microphone in place, each piece being simply rubber bands. I was a bit taken back by this, thinking they should have used something more than rubber bands, but it serves its purpose nicely and is easy to replace if they lose their elasticity or your microphone doens't seem to be staying in place right. It also comes with a few replacement rubber bands that you can use if you break one or stretch it out too much. The filter is easy to install, being a large metal rod that slides in to the openings on the stand and clasping in to place with metal pins. You can adjust how close to the microphone you want the filter to be by adjusting the pins and sliding the metal filter holder closer or further away.   And the sounds quality is great. I have no complaints for how my videos sound when using it. I can tell a difference when I use the mic compared to videos in the past when I did not. I am sure that if I were to invest in a higher end microphone, I could probably have even better sound. But for the price and my needs, this is working perfectly. I have no complaints. And I would purchase again in a heartbeat since it has made a great difference.   If you are looking for a great microphone with stand and filter to boost your recording offerings, this is a great option to consider. Well worth the investment and pennies in the bucket considering all you can do with it.
