I first started using silicone baking mats way back in 2003, and i love them for so many uses. Silicone mats are safe to use in the fridge, freezer, microwave, and oven -- not on the stovetop or grill! I love to use them for making cookies and candies. They make any pan non-stick, are great non-slip mats underneath cutting boards or dishes, and they are easy to clean. Storage is a breeze - you can roll them up or just stack them. I have a drawer full of these that are always being used. This is a handy set with one mat in each of 3 sizes, including the coveted toaster oven size! The pink band is cute. Silicone bakeware is quite durable but can sometimes 'remember' the scent of certain foods. For that reason, I recommend dedicating one set to use for things like sweets so that they won't remind you of last week's baked fish, for example. This cute pink set will be for sweets only. Please do not use sharp utensils on these mats. If cuttung food on the mat, I use a plastic utensil with the lightest possible pressure.
