When we were kids, we often drank Carnation Instant Breakfast, which was powder that mixed with milk and provided vitamins, minerals, protein. We loved that stuff!! Well, this is the 2020 version of the same thing: Carnation's Breakfast Essentials. It is delicious, and does not have any of the vitamin after-taste you taste with the canned meal replacements, just a very good chocolate shake flavor. It's really great! In fact, I like it so much that I ordered 2 more boxes to put away for backups.
In these questionable times, we are stocking up on Kraft Dinners, Knorr rice and pasta, powdered milk (just in case), other things that can be stored for a while and that you can prepare with nothing but water if you need to. This product can be made using reconstituted powdered milk if necessary.
Price: $6.92 for a box of 22 servings (that's about 31 cents a serving), a bargain!
